Originator guide
Build the supply side — publish canonical wines, create offers, and set selling permissions.
Originator guide
You are an Originator if you own the supply: you know the wine, you hold (or can source) the stock, and you decide who may sell it. Your integration does three things — publish wines, create offers, and control permissions.
What you build
| Step | Guide |
|---|---|
| Publish a canonical wine (or match an existing one) | Publish a wine |
| Create an offer (stock + seller price) | Create an offer |
| Decide who may sell, and where | Set permissions |
The shape of an Originator's data
- Wine — descriptive facts (producer, vintage, appellation, grapes, ABV…). One canonical record per wine; your offer points at it, it is never duplicated per offer.
- Offer — your willingness to sell:
stock,seller_price,network_shareable,permissions. - Listing — created by your downstream Sellers, not by you. You never set the shelf price.
Minimal flow
1. POST /v1/wines/match → dedupe against the canonical register
2. POST /v1/wines → create the wine if no match
3. POST /v1/offers → attach your offer + permissions
4. (Sellers) POST /v1/listings → they layer shelf prices on your offer
