Overview
What Wine2You is, the roles in the network, and how a partner integration fits together.
Overview
Wine2You connects three kinds of partner around a single canonical set of wine data. You integrate once and can operate in one, two or all three roles.
The three roles
- Originator — owns supply. Publishes canonical wines and creates offers (stock + a willingness-to-sell price + selling permissions). An Originator decides who may sell its stock and to which countries.
- Fulfiller — owns physical goods. Holds stock at locations and fulfils pickups and shipments; supplies the duty/tax context for a destination.
- Seller — owns the shelf. Curates listings on top of network offers and sets its own shelf price and sales channels.
Roles are enabled per partner, not per account type — you onboard once and turn roles on. See Roles & permissions.
The canonical model in one line
A wine is a fact about the world (descriptive). An offer is one Originator's willingness to sell it (supply + price + permissions). A listing is a Seller's shelf price on top. They never duplicate each other. Full detail: Canonical wine vs offer vs listing.
How a request flows
your system → api.wine2you.shop (Cloudflare edge, Access token) → Wine2You API (Unkey verify + OpenFGA) → your data (scoped)
Every request carries an entity-scoped key. The key tells the API who you are; the read-path controls decide what your entity may see. See Authentication.
