Pickup

Request and respond to pickup for an order — the estate-first and split fulfilment patterns.

Pickup

When an order is placed, Wine2You routes it estate-first: the order is offered to the wine's estate (or its fulfiller) before other inventories. If the estate cannot cover the full quantity, the order splits across locations.

Request a pickup

curl -X POST https://api.wine2you.shop/v1/pickups \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $W2Y_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"order_id":"ord_...","location_id":"loc_...","quantity":6}'

Respond

curl -X POST https://api.wine2you.shop/v1/pickups/pick_.../accept \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $W2Y_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"ready_at":"2026-10-20T09:00:00Z"}'

The split pattern

order (12 bottles)
  → estate location: 6 available → pickup accepted (6)
  → secondary location: 6 available → pickup accepted (6)
= two legs, one order, one shipment consolidated downstream

A partial estate pickup does not fail the order — the workflow splits the remainder across the next eligible locations. You see the leg assigned to your locations only.
