Network sharing
How offers become visible across the network, and how you stay in control.
Network sharing
An offer is only visible to other partners if the Originator shares it. Sharing is explicit, per-offer, and enforced on the read path.
How sharing resolves
offer.network_shareable == false → invisible to every entity except its owner
offer.network_shareable == true → visible iff the caller passes `permissions`:
· caller's country ∈ allowed_countries (or empty = unrestricted)
· caller's entity ∈ named_sellers, OR permissions.default == "any"
· caller's channel/tenant scope admits the row
Every condition must hold. A seller outside the Originator's permissions never receives the row — the API omits it before serialisation, so it is indistinguishable from a wine that does not exist.
Provenance flows, visibility does not
When a Seller curates an offer into a listing:
- the wine facts flow through (descriptive only),
- the offer's stock and price stay the Originator's (the Seller never sees or edits
seller_price), - the listing carries the Seller's own shelf price.
So a Seller can sell a wine it could not have offered itself, without ever holding the Originator's supply data.
